Huawei's this year flagship devices Huawei P40, P40 Pro and also P40 Pro PE (i.e. Premium Edition) are coming on March 26 confirming officially and Huawei will launch these devices online.
Huawei P40 Pro PriceHuawei is known for offering impressive cameras in its flagships and the Huawei P40 Pro will have their best camera set up so far with two zoom cameras and up to 10x optical zoom and the world's biggest smartphone camera sensor.
And not only best camera but the phone will also have the industry-first quad curved display, not only the display curves at the sides but at the top and bottom as well so as a direct result of these big upgrades, Huawei is expected to raise prices compared to the P30 Pro which was released last year.
According to sources, the Huawei P40 is gonna be priced between €799 to €899 Euros in Europe, the Huawei P30 retailed at €749 when it launched last year so there's an increase in price this year.
The Huawei P40 Pro will be priced between €999 to €1099 Euros in Europe for comparison the P30 Pro was priced at €949 Euros.
Now another upper variant of this series the P40 Pro Premium Edition which is gonna compete pretty directly with the Galaxy S20 Ultra with 52 MP camera and 10 times periscope zoom camera and more will be priced between €1199 to €1299 Euros in Europe.
Now that also not cheap but it's still significantly less than the Galaxy S20 Ultra which was priced at €1349 Euros in Europe, but I want to mention here that these are not the official prices but the guy who leaked this prices on twitter does have a mix track record and he is right most of the times when it comes to Huawei leaks so we'll find out how accurate any of this is soon as Huawei has already confirmed that it will be announcing the P40 family on March 26.
Huawei has also released a short little teaser showcasing the quad curved design of the P40 Pro, rumors about Huawei including a quad curved display in its next flagship have been rambling for a while now and Huawei just basically confirmed that with this teaser.
The Premium Edition of P40 will have a 6.7" display and it's gonna be interesting that how this is gonna look in real life and whether or not curving the display on top and bottom would make difference in the user experience.
Also, the Premium Edition of the P40 has appeared on a South Korean retailer site, the listing has to reveal the design and specification of the smartphone so apparently, the phone will have 120-hertz Quad HD+ display similar to the Galaxy S20 Ultra and I guess Huawei is offering 120 hertz at a maximum resolution too unlike Samsung.
And surprisingly there will be three sensors on the pill shape cutout at the front and the third sensor is gonna be the time of flight camera, the rear of the device also appears to be curved towards the edges.
